Knee: Arthroscopy which is a minimally invasive involving examination of the inside of the knee with the help of a small camera through a pencil-hole portal. Though an additional portal probes/fine instruments are introduced to perform menisectomy/repairs/synovectomy or removal of loose bodies. This is done on an outpatient ambulatory basis.
Knee-joint replacement or total knee replacement aims at restoration of the natural joint mechanics and improves stability. This is done on an in-patient basis with a 4-6 day stay followed by a rehabilitation program.

Hip: Total hip replacement restores the natural joint mechanics and improves stability. Done on an inpatient basis with stay from 7-10 days followed with a rehabilitation program.

Shoulder: Arthroscopy done by inserting a camera through a pencil hole sized portal to examine and perform a variety of procedures like Rotator-cuff repair, Labral tear repair, subacromial decompression, AC joint Arthroplasty(Mumford procedure). We rarely open the shoulder even if there is a large tear.

Ankle: Ankle arthroscopy is done to examine the interior through tiny portals for repair of torn ligaments.

Elbow: Epicondylitis
ulnar neuritis
Elbow arthritis.
